The 7 Best Sites for Funny Canadian T-Shirts (Ranked for 2026)

I run a funny shirt store, so yes, I have opinions. I also spent an embarrassing amount of time ordering from competitors so you don't have to. Here's what I actually found β€” ranked by what it actually costs a Canadian to get a shirt delivered.

The 7 Best Sites for
Funny Canadian T-Shirts
Ranked for 2026

By Philippe Allaire  Β·  FunnyTees.ca  Β·  Updated April 2026

I run a funny shirt store, so yes, I have opinions about this. I also spent an embarrassing amount of time ordering from competitors so you don't have to. Here's what I actually found.

Finding a genuinely funny Canadian t-shirt is harder than it sounds. Most of what comes up in search results is either dropshipped from a warehouse overseas, humour that reads like it was written by someone who has never been to Canada, or both. Customs fees. Three-week shipping. A shirt that arrives looking like it was folded by someone who was angry.

This list ranks the actual options. I've tried to be fair about the others even though I obviously have a horse in this race. The ranking is based on: Canadian-specific humour, actual shipping times to Canada, total landed cost (price + shipping + duties), and quality.

Why "Ships to Canada" Isn't Enough

Most funny shirt sites are American. They ship to Canada, technically, but the fine print is where it gets you. Expect $15-25 CAD in shipping, 2-3 weeks in transit, and a customs/duty charge waiting at the door. By the time the shirt arrives, you've paid $60+ CAD for a $25 shirt.

A shirt printed and fulfilled in Canada has no customs fees, ships Canada Post, and usually arrives in under two weeks total. That difference matters more than most people realize when they're clicking "buy."

Camrose, Alberta  Β·  Printed in Canada

Full disclosure: this is my store. I'm ranking it first and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. But the reasons are real. Every shirt is printed by me, in Canada, on actual Canadian soil. No overseas fulfilment. No customs surprises at your door. Ships Canada Post in 1-3 business days from order.

The designs are built for a Canadian audience specifically. Not just "put a maple leaf on it" Canadian. Things Canadians actually recognize: the passive-aggressive politeness, the weather opinions, the specific flavour of blue-collar prairie humour, the relationship with geese. Sizes run S to 4XL, prices are in CAD, and there's no currency conversion math required.

What works

  • Printed in Canada, no duties
  • 1-3 day dispatch, Canada Post
  • Canadian humour, not American
  • Prices in CAD, S to 4XL
  • 30-day returns, no hassle

The catch

  • Smaller catalogue than Redbubble
  • One-person operation (Brenda the printer has opinions)

Redbubble

Global Marketplace  Β·  Overseas Fulfillment

Redbubble is the obvious first stop for anyone searching online, and the selection is genuinely enormous. Independent artists upload designs, you order, and a third-party printer fulfils it. The problem for Canadians is that "fulfilment" often means a printer in the UK, US, or Australia, depending on what's closest to their supply chain that day. Delivery to Canada takes 2-3 weeks and customs fees are a real possibility.

Quality varies a lot because it depends on which printer handles your order. Some are great. Some aren't. You won't know until it arrives. If you're after something ultra-niche (a very specific fandom, a hyper-specific regional joke), Redbubble probably has it and nothing else will.

3

TeePublic

US-Based Marketplace  Β·  Frequent Sales

TeePublic works on the same model as Redbubble: artists upload, third-party printers fulfil. The main draw is price. They run sales constantly and shirts often drop to $14 USD. At first glance that sounds cheap, until you do the CAD conversion, add $15+ USD shipping to Canada, and factor in the real possibility of a duty charge. The landed cost climbs fast. Still a decent option if you find a design you can't get elsewhere and you're willing to wait.

4

Snorg Tees

Classic US Funny Shirt Brand  Β·  Ships to Canada

Snorg has been around since the early internet days and the quality of the shirts themselves is genuinely solid. The humour is fine if you're into American pop culture references and general nerd jokes. For Canadian buyers: shipping to Canada runs $15-25 CAD on top of the shirt price, and customs is a possibility depending on the total value declared. The humour skews American. You're not going to find a shirt about Tim Hortons line etiquette or the particular experience of driving a half-ton on a gravel road in February.

5

Look Human

US-Based  Β·  Ships to Canada (Slowly)

Look Human is good for pop culture and niche interest shirts. If you're into specific TV shows, hobbies, or identity humour, they have a solid catalogue. The downside for Canadians is that it ships from the US and delivery times are on the longer side. No Canadian content to speak of. A fine option if you're after something specific and you're patient about waiting for it.

6

Spreadshirt

Custom Platform  Β·  DIY-Focused

Spreadshirt is better as a custom design tool than a place to browse funny shirts. If you have a design you want printed, it does that well. The pre-made funny catalogue is thin compared to the others. They do have Canadian fulfilment options sometimes, which is a point in their favour on the shipping side. Ranked lower because browsing for a funny shirt here takes effort that the others don't require.

7

Etsy (Canadian Sellers)

Honourable Mention  Β·  Filter Required

Etsy is worth a mention because there are some genuinely good small Canadian operators selling funny shirts on there. The trick is filtering. Search "funny Canadian t-shirt," then filter by ships from Canada, and you'll find a handful of decent options. Quality varies a lot. Some sellers are running a proper print operation. Others are using the cheapest transfer paper they can find. You'll need to read reviews carefully. It's the most effort of any option on this list, but occasionally you'll find something great that isn't available anywhere else.

The Bottom Line

If you want a funny Canadian t-shirt and you live in Canada, the math is pretty straightforward. Paying $25 CAD for a shirt with $6.99 Canada Post shipping and zero customs risk beats paying $25 USD for a shirt with $20 USD shipping and a possible duty envelope waiting on your doorstep. The big marketplaces have more options, but more options doesn't help if the shirt takes three weeks and costs $70 landed.

The other sites on this list are worth bookmarking for specific situations. Redbubble and TeePublic for ultra-niche designs you can't find anywhere else. Snorg if you want something classic and you're not in a rush. Etsy if you're willing to do the filtering work and you want to support another small Canadian operator. But for Canadian humour, printed in Canada, arriving this week? FunnyTees is the answer.
